Every few years, the wind of change blowing in the fantasy basketball world. Elite slow fall and the new name replaces the top.

I can remember, less than three seasons was Shawn Marion consensus number one fantasy basketball players under the ranking system. His whole game was very good for any team and he helped in almost every category, but are supported.

Marion fell into disgrace, and it is hard as a top-50 player at this point. There are other players (ie Kevin Garnett), who suffered the same fate, but when you go.

Number one was dominated by Chris Paul in the past two seasons. While most would not consider him the best overall NBA player, his statistics are perfect, and invaluable for fantasy basketball team.

Go into the season, it seemed that CP3 is forced to become the best overall player repeat. Things started so until he sprained his foot, forcing Paul to several games with his injury.

He came back from injury and when he showed flashes his usual self, has a mysterious voice, which in some of his performances. His points may be too low or unusually poor shooting percentage. Sometimes it helps and stealing is unusually low.

Whatever it is, seems rather to be of the CP3 and it makes many wonder if he will during the season like this. If he does, he will probably be replaced as number one.

Those who take his place if so? At this point, see the next three to be in line for a few familiar faces - LeBron James, Kobe Bryant and Dirk Nowitzki.

Fantasy owners are waiting impatiently for the next few weeks to see if the real CP3 will appear.
